Simon Tsuo has served as the founding CEO of Motech Solar since 1999. 

Dr. Tsuo has more than 27 years of experience in the field of photovoltaics. 

Prior to joining Motech Solar, Dr. Tsuo worked for more than 18 years at the U.S. DOE’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden, Colorado, U.S.A. 

Before NREL, Dr. Tsuo worked at Stanford Research Institute (SRI) in Menlo Park, California and the NASA/Langley Research Institute in Hempton, Virginia. 

Dr. Tsuo holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Yeshiva University in New York City in 1978.
