Richard M. Winegarner has over thirty-five years of industrial experience ranging from market research and business development to aerospace and optics. 

His educational experience includes an undergraduate degree in engineering and his graduate studies have resulted in masters degrees in both physics and business administration (MBA).

His industrial experience includes key positions in aerospace, opto-electronics, and energy. He played key rolls in the development of optical reconnaissance equipment for state-of-the-art satellites and aircraft. 

He spent five years as a corporate business manager for special projects at one of the world's largest thin film companies.

He then contributed to the development and growth of one of the bay area's leading consulting companies. Having achieved the position of vice president, Mr. Winegarner departed to become the founding president of Sage Concepts and has managed the company for the past sixteen years.

Mr. Winegarner has published annual reports covering polysilicon, ingot growth, and wafering for over twenty five years and reports specifically focused on solar silicon for the past three years.
