Yuncheng Hu is the Director of Emei Semiconductor Materials Factory & Institute.

Since Nov. 2006 he has been the Director of Emei Semiconductor Materials Factory & Institute, and is responsible for the operation of the factory and institute.

From Nov 2000 to Nov. 2006, Mr. Hu was Executive Director and General Manager of DFSW Surface Engineering Tech Co. Ltd., and was involved in R&D of surface technologies and related industrial technologies, being charged with the national key technological innovation project. 

Beforehand, he worked in the Materials Laboratory of Dong Fang Steam Turbine Works, engaging in R&D of surface exploding coating & plasma coating technologies and in the Surface Engineering Institute of Dong Fang Steam Turbine Works until Nov. 2000. He graduated from the Department of Physics, Lanzhou University in July 1985.
