The 900 participants at the 4th Solar Silicon Conference learned of expansion plans at a heretofore unseen scale: Adding together the announcements made in Munich in 2007, there will be an additional 100,000 tons available in the coming years. The amount of silicon production will therefore rise rapidly. 

But what will its quality be? And who will have access to it? In our Asian silicon conference, we will introduce the Chinese and Eastern European projects. The focus in Munich 2008 will be on the market leaders‘ expansion plans.
