Alan Kestenbaum is Chairman, CEO and a member of the board of Globe Specialty Metals, Inc. 

He also holds several other positions: he founded Marco International Corp. in 1985 and is CEO; since 1997 Mr Kestenbaum has been the Vice President of Marco Hitech JV LLC and he is also the Director of Neuro-Hitech Pharmaceuticals, as well as of Wolverine Tube Inc.

Mr Kestenbaum received his BA cum laude in Economics from Yeshiva University, New York, USA.
